ON THE SIDE. . .
This and that from the world of Valley politics.
ON THE ATTACK: The campaign of state Sen. Marc Dann, the Democratic nominee for attorney general, started airing radio commercials this week. The commercials attack Ohio Auditor Betty Montgomery, the Republican nominee for AG, for doing nothing to stop corruption in state government.
Montgomery, who has raised considerably more money than Dann, is airing television commercials attacking her Democratic opponent.
Because the Dann campaign has less money, it has to use its resources carefully and came up with a clever idea. The campaign sent e-mails to supporters with the price list for airing one-minute commercials in the state's eight largest radio markets.
Dann supporters can click on links to contribute 290 for a commercial in Cleveland down to 100 for a commercial in Youngstown, Akron, Canton,
