Police car rammed in Warren
WARREN — Police are expected to file charges against a woman who rammed her car into a police car during an attempted traffic stop.
Patrol Officer Sean Stephens reported that he attempted to stop a gray Pontiac Grand Prix with a female driver and a male passenger at Southern Boulevard and Linda Drive about 3:30 a.m. today.
The woman pulled the car into a driveway, and Stephens stopped the cruiser he was driving and got out. The car then sped away, hitting the cruiser and nearly striking the officer.
The woman led police on a chase through the city, along Parkman Road and onto state Route 305, where police ended it when it became too dangerous. Police said they obtained the car’s license plate number. The owner told police her daughter was using her car.
