BROWNS ROUNDUP News and notes

Moving up: With 108 return yards against the Bengals, Browns kick-return specialist Joshua Cribbs moved into third place on Cleveland's kickoff return yardage list (2,183). Cribbs passed Glen Young, who was third on the list with 2,079 yards. Cribbs also solidified fifth place on the kickoff return attempt list with 85. Cribbs had a 101-yard return nullified by a holding penalty on the first play of Sunday's game. "I saw the hole last night and all week," said Cribbs of the return. "I knew it was going to be there again. I saw the flag when I was running so that is why I didn't celebrate. I just knew I had to go back to work."
Defensive notes: Browns rookie Kamerion Wimbley notched a sack to run his season total to a team-best 7 1/2. Wimbley passed Michael Dean Perry last week for the team's rookie record for sacks in a season. Linebacker Willie McGinest recorded his 82nd and 83rd career sacks after dropping Carson Palmer twice. McGinest has five sacks on the season. Defensive back Brian Russell intercepted his first pass of the season after picking off Palmer in the third quarter. It was the 15th interception of Russell's career.
Offensive notes: After catching seven passes for 137 yards last week against the Steelers, Browns wide-out Braylon Edwards caught just two passes for 29 yards against the Bengals. For the season, Edwards has 43 receptions for 641 yards and three touchdowns. Tight end Kellen Winslow caught six passes for 52 yards, running his season total to 66 receptions for 649 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Reuben Droughns, in his first game back from a foot injury, had two carries for 4 yards and has carried 155 times for 476 yards this season. Quarterback Charlie Frye has completed 216 of 345 passes for 2,145 yards, nine TDs and 16 interceptions. He's been sacked 43 times and his passer rating is 69.5.
