Symbolik 50th observed at dinner party

AUSTINTOWN -- The home of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen N. Symbolik Jr., 930 Collins Ave., was the setting Nov. 10 for a dinner party honoring the couple on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Arrangements for the celebration were made by the couple's children, Stephen N. Symbolik III of New York, N.Y.; Michael J. Symbolik of Campbell; and Barbara Jean Symbolik of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. There are also five grandchildren in the family.
The former Jean K. Andrjwski and Mr. Symbolik were united in marriage Nov. 10, 1956, at St. Casimir Church in Youngstown, where they are members.
Mrs. Symbolik, a secretary at the church, retired from Youngstown Hospital Association in Youngstown, where she was a medical coder.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Symbolik was the owner of Riverbend Restaurant and the Symbolik Sign Co. in Youngstown prior to retiring.
