MINERAL RIDGE -- A honeymoon in the Hawaiian islands followed the Oct. 14 wedding of Michelle Elaine Bukovina and Guillermo Arnulfo Martinez at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Church.
The Rev. Richard Murphy officiated for the daughter of Jo Ann Bukovina of Austintown and William Bukovina of Lordstown, and the son of Isidra de Jesus Castro of Phoenix and Emilio Martinez of Santa Ana, El Salvador.
A reception was held afterward at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman. The couple live in San Francisco.
The bride's halter-style gown featured a laced-up back and cathedral train, and was enhanced with beading and embroidery.
Black gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Melissa Bukovina, and the bridesmaids, Sharon Ford, Chrisi Babos, Kristin Bacho, Cally Bukovina and Courtney Fidram, and the junior bridesmaid, Kelsey Sakely. Flower girl was Noelle Bukovina.
Giovanni Catalan was best man, and groomsmen were John Charignow, Brad Hagan, Chris Turner, Brett Fidram, John Bukovina and Chris Bacho. Ring bearers were Austin and Jonah Bacho.
A summa cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree, the bride earned a master's in business administration and international management from Thunderbird American Graduate School of International Management . She is an accountant with Cook Telecom Inc., San Rafael, Calif. The groom is in maintenance and security with Project Open Hand in San Francisco and is attending the City College of San Francisco.
