50th anniversary is celebrated by Willinghams



YOUNGSTOWN -- The 50th anniversary of their wedding was celebrated by Mr. and Mrs. Orsby Willingham, 614 Northlawn Drive, during a gathering with friends and relatives on Nov. 25 at the Brentford House in Hubbard.
Invitations for the event were extended by their sons, Derrick, David and Frederick Willingham, all of Cleveland, and Keith Willingham of Falls Church, Va.
The couple, who have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, were united in marriage Nov. 24, 1956, at Holy Temple Church of God In Christ, where they are members.
Mrs. Willingham, a homemaker, is a Sunday school teacher, church secretary and church mother.
Mr. Willingham served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a skilled trades machinist with General Motors Corp. in Lordstown prior to retiring in 1996.
