Ohio pastor accused of having sex with girl

DAYTON (AP) -- A pastor of a suburban church was arrested on charges that he had sex with a 15-year-old girl, authorities said.
Dennis Bowling, 45, who has led Kingdom Harvest Church in Riverside for 19 years, was charged with eight counts of sexual battery. He faces up to 80 years in prison if convicted.
The possible sexual contact with the girl occurred between September and November, said Montgomery County Prosecutor Mathias Heck Jr.
Heck said he believes that Bowling has been dismissed as pastor. Phone calls to the church and to a home listing for Bowling were unanswered Thursday.
The church also is the site of the Christian Training Center, a private school for grades 2 through 12 that has 27 pupils and one teacher, according to the Ohio Department of Education.
