Amanda Sump, Brian Garbus are engaged

Announced by Pamela Sump of Mineral Ridge and Richard and Cheryl Garbus, 2639 Niles-Vienna Road, Niles, is the engagement of their children, Amanda D. Sump, 1332 Mulberry Run, Mineral Ridge, and Brian C. Garbus, also of 2639 Niles-Vienna Road.
Miss Sump, also a daughter of Robert Sump of Greenville, Pa., graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nuclear Medicine Technology. She is a nuclear medicine technologist with Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren.
Mr. Garbus, a network administrator with ERICO Products Inc. in Solon, earned a bachelor's degree at Youngstown State University.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony they have planned for 2 p.m. Sept. 8, 2007, at St. Rose Church, Girard. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
