McDonald hears 2 bus storage options

McDONALD -- The board of education Monday learned of two possible options for finding a place to store four school buses.
The board also extended its gratitude to Lou Morocco of Morocco Services, 3008 Woodfield Ave., for storing the buses at his shop for the past month as a favor to the district.
Atty. William Roux, board member, told the board he has been in contact with McDonald Steel, where the district had been storing its buses under cover at no charge. Roux said the steel company may be able to help the district again, now that it has completed remodeling the area of the mill where the buses were being stored.
Roux also said village Administrator Tom Domitrovich and Councilman Glen Holmes have also said they may be able to help. Holmes attended the meeting.
In other business, the board named coaches for the 2006-07 school year, all at a rate of 3,146 annually: Dan Williams, head baseball coach; Lou Domitrovich, head boys track coach; and Tony Puntel, head softball coach.
