BOARDMAN -- Justin Townsend and his bride, the former Karen Seres, both of 1846 Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, left on a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean after their Oct. 21 wedding at Westminster Presbyterian Church and their reception at The Elm Tree in Struthers.
The Rev. David Joachim officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of John and Patricia Seres, 8208 Glenwood Ave., and the son of Richard and Melanie Morlan, 45281 state Route 46, New Waterford, and Jeff and Billie Townsend, 50852 state Route 14, East Palestine.
Pearl and crystal beading embellished the bride's strapless ivory satin and lace gown, and it featured a chapel train.
Kelly Sigworth of New Middletown was the honor attendant in a claret gown, and similarly attired were the bridesmaids, Debbie Seres of Cleveland and Amanda Seres of Columbus, sisters of the bride; and Amanda Morlan of New Waterford, the groom's sister.
The groom's brother, Jacob Townsend of East Liverpool, served as best man, and groomsmen were Jerett Wertz of New Waterford, Chris Reidy of Columbiana, and the groom's brother, Taylor Townsend of East Palestine. Another brother, Zach Townsend of East Palestine, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Townsend, an account manager with Acordia, graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in applied science. Mr. Townsend earned a bachelor's in business at YSU and is in sales with Acordia. They live in Columbiana.
