OSU 35, Michigan 24 (end of 3rd)

Mistakes will get a team beat almost every time, and the Buckeyes are trying prove that tonight, with two costly turnovers in the third quarter that led to 10 Michigan points (incidently, those are the first points Ohio State has allowed following a turnover all season). On the first, an interception, Troy Smith threw into triple coverage and Alan Branch was in the right spot at the right time for the deflection. On the second, Smith couldn't handle a high snap from center Doug Datish and Branch was the Michigan man on the spot again, scooping up the loose ball that set up Mike Hart's third touchdown run of the game.

That made it Ohio State 35, Michigan 31, setting up what should be a wild and exciting fourth quarter.
