Hoyt Artists members to exhibit their works



NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Twenty-five members of the Hoyt Artists Association are exhibiting more than 95 works at the Hoyt Institute of Arts this holiday season.
The Members Show and Sale offers visitors the opportunity to both view a sampling of regional talent and buy original works of art at competitive prices.
An ample selection of painting and photography is complemented by jewelry and sculpture. Prices range from 85- 1,500 within the exhibit, and 5- 200 in the adjacent artist's market, where unframed originals, notecards and jewelry will be available.
Who is involved
Participating artists include: Carol Volz Begley, Kate Burke, Jean Coursey, John M. Dorinsky, Betsy Collins Downs, Betty Elias, John Fobes, Linda Fruhwald, Kelly M. Coursey-Gray, Rachel Griffin, Dorothy de Groat, Aaronel deRoy Gruber, Gloria Goldsmith Hersh, Robert Karstadt, Marianne Marino, Kevin McLatchy, Patricia McLatchy, Cathy Chill Milligan, James O'Malley, William Perry, Jan Pociernicki, Michael Stephens, Kathryn Strutz and Wendy Warner.
The sale will begin with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Holiday shoppers can meet the artists and can learn more about Hoyt classes, events and membership. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served.
Regular gallery hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
