SALEM & amp;#150; Larry C. Miller, 75, of 1113 E. Third St., died at 1:12 a.m. Wednesday at Essex Of Salem III. He was born Oct. 27, 1931 in Salem, the son of the late Charles Glenn and Kathryn (Reiber) Miller. & lt;BR & gt;
He had been employed by the former Crane Deming Pump Co. in Salem as a sales manager for 40 years, retiring in 1992. He was with Springfield Mutual Insurance Co. for 30 years and on the Board of Directors. & lt;BR & gt;
Larry was a 1949 graduate of Goshen High School and a 1953 graduate of Mount Union College. He was a member of Damascus United Methodist Church, where he was a former treasurer and trustee of the church and served on the Building Committee. Larry served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Deming Retirees, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in Damascus and a district officer of the Odd Fellows Grand Lodge of Ohio, where he received the Meritorious Jewel Award in 2005, their highest honor. & lt;BR & gt;
He is survived by his wife, Treva (Bush) Miller, whom he married May 16, 1954, four sons, David Glenn (Diane) Miller of Damascus, Rev. Dr. James Martin (Betsy) Miller of New Market, Md., Attorney John Frederick (Lisa) Miller of San Antonio and Dale Lea (Jodi) Miller of Salem; a daughter, Lois Ann (Lenny) Niederhiser of Beloit; a sister, Janice Bennett of Salem, 12 grandchildren, Keith, Thomas, Adam, Jack, Andrew, Zachary, Kristen, Michelle, Megan, Katy, Rebecca and Lauren; and a great grandchild, Alivia & lt;BR & gt;
Preceding him in death was a sister, Betta Lee. & lt;BR & gt;
Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Damascus United Methodist Church, with Rev. Michael Grant and Rev. James Miller officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. & lt;BR & gt;
