Miss Melitschka, Mr. Vross plan Dec. 9 wedding

SALEM -- Matthew and Cathleen Melitschka, 357 Morgan Court, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Katharine Melitschka of the same address, and James Vross, a son of Thomas and Christy Vross, all of 365 Brookfield Ave., Boardman.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in early childhood education. She is a second-grade teacher with Western Reserve Local School District in Ellsworth.
The prospective groom is a manager with Sparkle Market in Boardman. He graduated from YSU with a degree in computer science.
The couple have chosen St. Paul Church as the setting for their open wedding at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 9. Invitations will be issued for their evening reception at Salem Golf Club.
