Park Vista, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, will present a "Trim and Fit for the Holidays" program for seniors from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 28 in the gathering room. Eve Bevilacqua, a licensed senior fitness instructor, will guide participants through a series of exercises. After a light lunch, Matt Good, registered dietitian, will provide tips for keeping off extra pounds during the holiday season and making good nutritional choices. The event is free to the public; however, reservations are limited and required by Nov. 21 by calling (330) 746-2944 Ext. 1553.
Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following activities: Monday, follies at 12:30 p.m. and bridge at 1; Tuesday, oil painting and exercises at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, chorus at 12:30 p.m. and digital club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., computer club at 10 and noon, tai chi at noon, and yoga and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, woodcarvers and Watch Our Weight Club at 9 a.m., exercises at noon, square dancing at 1 p.m. and line dancing at 3; and Friday, scheduled fun days and parties. Also planned are: Wednesday, Lake Milton Fun Day; Thursday, Boardman Park Fun Day; Friday, Sebring Fun Day; and Nov. 20, Dominion Gas Program.
