New Castle man dies in one-car crash

NEW CASTLE, Pa. —   Levi K. Deemer, 20, of New Castle, died in a one-car accident about 2:40 a.m. Sunday on Pa. Route 551, just west of Berkey Road in Little Beaver Township, Lawrence County,   according to Pennsylvania State Police at New Castle. Deemer’s passenger, Jessica S. Burnette, no age available, of Darlington, Pa., was first taken to Beaver Memorial Medical Center and then to Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, where   she was in fair condition Sunday night.

The police report stated that Deemer lost control of the vehicle, which left the north side of the road.

The vehicle struck an embankment and then rolled several times.
