Local physician is Dr. McDreamy semifinalist

Television show "Access Hollywood" recently put out a call for America's "dreamiest" doctors to participate in their Are You the Real Dr. McDreamy contest. Dr. McDreamy is a character on the ABC drama "Grey's Anatomy" played by Patrick Dempsey.
Many responded to the contest, but the field has been narrowed to 10 semifinalists, including Dr. Thomas Joseph of Canfield.
Each day on the show for five days, two of the 10 semifinalists will go head-to-head to determine who moves on to round three of the contest as finalists. The ultimate winner will be decided from the pool of five finalists by "Access Hollywood."
The winner will get a trip for themselves and one guest to Hollywood to appear on "Access Hollywood."
Dr. Joseph's submission video will air on "Access Hollywood" at 12:30 p.m. Monday on WFMJ-TV 21. Viewers will be able to log on to Accesshollywood.com beginning at 4:30 p.m. that day and vote for their favorite doctor until 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday's "Access Hollywood."
