Some Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley statistics:
Serves 7,400 individuals a week.
Distributes 30,000 pounds of food a day during the holiday season, its busiest time of the year.
Distributed 4.5 million pounds of food in 2005 to 160 member agencies in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties, including faith-based pantries, shelters and adult and child day-care facilities.
