Debutantes to be presented at ball
Proceeds from the event will provide scholarships for area students.
BOARDMAN -- The 51st annual Cinderella Ball to be presented by the Junior Civic League will be held Nov. 24 at Mr. Anthony's Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave.
A highlight of the event will be the introduction of 15 debutantes from area high schools and their escorts.
The evening will begin with a social hour and voting for Miss Cinderella from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The crowning of Miss Cinderella will take place at 7:30. Afterward there will be dancing.
This year's debutantes are: Danielle Adair of Woodrow Wilson High School, Jade Clark of The Rayen School, Dominique Graves of Cardinal Mooney, Jasmine Hilton of Woodrow Wilson, Jennifer M. Hudson of Ursuline, Coree Lynn Jacobs of Austintown Fitch, Shayla Kates of Struthers, Ashley Macklin of Chaney, Anvia Mickens of Struthers, Moriah Monroe of Austintown, Ashley Morgan of Cardinal Mooney, Angelica North of John F. Kennedy, Holli Robinson of Boardman, Stephanie Alon Tate of Rayen and Dominique Marie Williams of Chaney.
About the event
Chosen as the theme for this year's ball is "A Moment in Time," which reflects 51 years of memories. During those years, the Junior Civic League has crowned 50 Miss Cinderellas, groomed more than 400 young men as pages and escorts, and presented more than 400 debutantes.
Admission to the evening is 40, and proceeds will be used to provide college scholarships for students.
