Becks honored on 50th wedding anniversary

WARREN -- Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Beck, Longhill Drive, were the honored guests as they celebrated 50 years of marriage at a private dinner party held Nov. 10 at Alberini's Restaurant in Niles.
Hosts for event were their children and their spouses, Brian and Beth Beck of Warren, Greg and Amy Beck of Canfield and Tim and Amy O'Brien of Austintown. Their family circle includes nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Niles Methodist Church, where they are members, was the setting Nov. 10, 1956, as the former Doris Glunt and Mr. Beck were united in marriage.
Mrs. Beck is retired after holding a variety of positions in the banking industry.
Mr. Beck served with the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Afterward he was an accountant with Alcan Aluminum before retiring in 1990.
