YOUNGSTOWN -- Lake Tahoe was the honeymoon destination of Jaison Craig Boyd and his bride, the former Adrienne Marie Carter, who were married at 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at St. Patrick Church by the Rev. Edward Noga.
A reception was held afterward at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall.
Parents of the bride are Ruth Norrine Reese of Cleveland and Atty. Abdoul Rahim of Akron, and the groom is a son of Willard and Dr. Joan Boyd, 1005 Genesee Drive.
The bride wore an ivory satin and lace A-line gown.
Persimmon-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Gabrielle Crenshaw, and the bridesmaids, Stacey White, Gabrielle Boyd, Shelley Hill, Zahra Cockfield, Lushanna Brewington and Gina Strickland. Flower girls were Norrine Burch, Madison Hayes and Gabrielle, Daisha and Kierra Boyd. Bellringers were Helena and Stacey Foster.
Brent Boyd was best man, and groomsmen were Mark and Keith Boyd, Jason Carter, Steven Bright, Rafeal Layhe and Mike Barkett. Ring bearer was Nasir Carter, and ushers were Kelton Crenshaw, Gregory Foster and Dante Browne.
The bride is pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting and English at Youngstown State University, and is office manager with Ralph Tyler's Architectural Firm. The groom attended YSU and is a certified personal fitness trainer and body builder. He is the head personal trainer at Club South Health and Fitness Center, Boardman. They live at 1821 Selma Ave.
