Stefko jubilee is celebrated at country club

CANFIELD -- Tippecanoe Country Club was the setting Nov. 4 as friends and family members gathered to honor Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stefko, 3730 Villa Rosa Drive, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing were the couple's children and their spouses, Dr. Sandra and Clayton Embree of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Dr. Joseph and Janice Stefko of Canfield. Also participating were their six grandchildren.
The former Dorothy Mushinski and Mr. Stefko were united in marriage Nov. 3, 1956, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown. They renewed their nuptial vows Nov. 3 at St. Christine Church in Youngstown, where they are members.
Mrs. Stefko was the director of medical/surgical nursing for Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown prior to retiring in 1995.
Mr. Stefko served with the U.S. Army. He retired in 1989 as a captain with Youngstown Fire Department and afterward was employed six years by the Ohio Turnpike.
