MEGAN BEYARDKEN POSSERT
OCEAN CITY, Md. -- The wedding of Megan Beyard, a daughter of Richard and Susan Beyard of Boonsboro, Md., and Ken Possert of Leesburg, Va., a son of Marie Possert, 688 Jerry Drive, Hubbard, took place Sept. 23 on the beach at the Princess Bayside Hotel.
The Rev. Frank Savage officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony, and afterward a reception was held in honor of the couple at the banquet room of the hotel.
The bride wore a strapless, knee-length dress accented with a satin ribbon around the waist.
The Posserts left on a cruise to San Juan, St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados and Aruba in the southern Caribbean.
Since their return, they are living in Leesburg.
The bride graduated from Frostsburg State University, Hagerstown Campus in Maryland, with a bachelor's degree in liberal studies and a concentration in business administration and sociology. She is employed by Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in Hagerstown.
The groom is a territory sales manager with Pepsi Cola Bottling Group in Fairfax, Va. He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in finance and a minor in management and economics.
