ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. -- Nuptial vows were exchanged during a 5 p.m. ceremony Sept. 30 at the Wild Dunes Resort as Jill Anne Estok and James Joseph Pondillo Jr., both of 21 Stratus Court, Greer, S.C., were united in marriage by the Rev. Billy Hill.
After a reception at the resort beach house, the couple left on a cruise through the Eastern Caribbean. They live in Greer.
Parents of the bride are Bill and Anne Manthe, 3979 Brandomyne Ave., Austintown, and John and Peggy Estok, Holmes Beach, Fla. The groom's parents are James and Renee Pondillo, 134 Carter Circle, Boardman.
The bride's strapless gown of diamond-white satin was enhanced with lace appliques and featured a draped tulle overlay embellished with Swarovski crystals.
Wearing off-white gowns were the bridesmaids, Julie Weiss of Auburn, Ga., Abbie Estok of Mason, and Janet Estok of Duluth, Ga., all sisters of the bride. Flower girls were the groom's nieces, Katelyn and Ashelyn Sweet of Ramstein, Germany, and Bella-Sophia Pondillo of Horseheads, N.Y.
Peter Pondillo of Horseheads was his brother's best man, and groomsmen were Ralph Weiss of Auburn, the bride's brother-in-law; and Sean Thompson of Youngstown. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Andrew Weiss of Auburn.
The bride and groom graduated from Youngstown State University with degrees in industrial and systems engineering. She is a quality planner/industrial engineer with Draexlmair Automotive of America in Duncan, S.C., and he is an industrial engineer with Lear Corp. in Duncan.
