NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Gloria Diane Shaw and Robert James Stiegler, both of New Middletown, were united in marriage by the Rev. Nicholas Shori during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 14 at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
After accepting congratulations during a reception at The Embassy, the couple left on a Caribbean cruise to Jamaica, the Grand Cayman and Mexico. They live in New Middletown.
Parents of the bride are Daniel and Lucinda Burtner of Petersburg, and the groom's parents are Gregory and Patricia Stiegler of New Middletown.
The bride's strapless white gown was enhanced with beading and featured a chapel train.
The bride's sister and honor atttendant, Dawn Holod of New Middletown, and the bridesmaids, Emily Piper of New Middletown and Renee Stein of Enon Valley, Pa., her cousins, and Carrie Byrd of Austintown, wore apple red gowns.
Best man was Jason Myers of New Middletown, and groomsmen were Mark Stiegler of Austintown, the groom's brother; Richard Zitkovic of Austintown; and Michael Hiet of Boynton Beach, Fla. Ring bearer was the bride's nephew, Dolton Shaw of Petersburg.
The bride graduated with honors from Youngstown Centre of Massotherapy in Struthers. She is a licensed massage therapist and the owner of The Massotherapy Treatment Center in Poland.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at Youngstown State University and is employed in sales with All Wireless Inc., New Castle, Pa.
