Fentons feted at family dinner marking their 60th anniversary

DIAMOND -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fenton of Diamond were honored Oct. 8 as they celebrated 60 years of marriage during a family dinner held at Damon's in Niles.
Hosts for the festivity were the couple's children and their spouses, Ron and Carol Clark of Berlin Center, Chuck and Betty Jane Fenton of Lake Milton, Richard Fenton of Berlin Center, and Bill and Judy Hammond of Diamond. There are six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren in the family.
Mr. Fenton and the former Lola Mountain were united in marriage Oct. 4, 1946, in Youngstown. They are members of Berlin Center United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fenton retired as a teller with Mahoning National Bank in North Jackson and is a member of American Legion Post 737 Auxiliary.
A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Fenton retired as a tool and die maker with General Motors Corp. in Lordstown. He is a member of American Legion Post 737.
