YOUNGSTOWN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged by Doreen A. Berry and Shane W. Ferguson, both of 948 Campbell St., as they were united in marriage by the Rev. Joyce Lawson during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 21 at Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church.
A reception was held later that day at the Operating Engineers Hall in Boardman for the daughter of James and Betty Berry, 3448 Neilson Ave., and the son of Bonnie White, 3111 Burbank Ave., and the late William Ferguson, who had lived in Pompano Beach, Fla.
The couple live in Boardman.
Enhanced with lace, pearls and embroidery, the bride's white satin gown featured long sleeves, a sweetheart neckline, an open back and a cathedral train.
Chocolate and champagne gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Tracy Holden and the bride's sisters, Debbie Suchora and Renae Loughman; the bridesmaids, Jen Shipsky and Vicki Thomas; and junior bridesmaid Jade Valley, the groom's niece. Flower girls were Riley and Katelynn Loughman, the bride's nieces.
Thomas Sandor served as best man, and groomsmen were Dean Suchora and K.J. Loughman, the bride's brothers-in-law; John Messer; and David Ferguson, the groom's son. Junior groomsman was Cameron Suchora, nephew of the bride, and ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Shane Valley.
The bride is an accounting clerk with West Gate Ford Truck Sales, and the groom is the owner of a used-car business.
