Croatian Home St. George Lodge 66 will hold a pasta dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the clubrooms at 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Dinners will feature a choice of red or white spaghetti, ravioli or cavatelli. There will be a chef special of roast pork.
FRIDAYHoly Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will be serving fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi and hot pirogi lunches. Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. The cost of pirogi is $4 per dozen. This will be the final pirogi sale of the year.
Hubbard Conservation Club, 1760 Wick Campbell Road SE, Hubbard, will serve fish dinners beginning at 5 p.m. Small dinners are $4, large are $6.50, and children under 5 eat free with a paid adult meal. Strip steak and 21 shrimp in a basket will be available for $8. Takeouts will be available.
St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will sell pizza and other Italian treats. Orders may be placed by calling (330) 746-9577 from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 1 p.m. Friday.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 1 Friday, based upon availability. The cost is $4 a dozen, and patrons are asked to provide their own containers. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. June 16 will be the last sale for the season.
SUNDAY
St. Jude Council of the Knights of Columbus will hold a spaghetti dinner from noon to 3 p.m. at St. Jude Activity Center, Seventh Street, Columbiana. Tickets are $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12, and can be purchased by contacting Joe Mersole, (330) 549-2923; Joe Fraser, (330) 719-5593, or the church office, (330) 482-2351.
St. Rocco's Episcopal Church will serve spaghetti or cavatelli dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parish hall, 239 Trumbull Ave., Liberty Township. Adult dinners are $6.50, and children's are $3.50 for those 6 to 12. Meals are free to those 5 and under. Carryouts will be available to patrons providing their own containers, or a container will be provided for 50 cents. There will also be a white elephant sale.
