XBRECKSVILLE -- Michael Thomas Fleming and his bride, the former Rebecca Ann Farwell, honeymooned at St. Kitts in the Virgin Islands and Key West, Fla., after their wedding at 2:30 p.m. April 29 at Brecksville United Church of Christ. The Rev. David Shackle officiated.
The couple were honored during a reception in the Metropolitan Ballroom at the Huntington Building, Cleveland.
Mr. and Mrs. James R. Farwell, 4020 Laurel Glenn Drive, Broadview Heights, are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Joseph Fleming, 6686 Katahdin Drive, Poland.
The bride wore a strapless gown of ivory silk with a sweetheart neckline, full skirt adorned with pin-tucked roses, and cathedral veil.
Claret-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Meg Giera, and the bridesmaids, Alyson Youngberg; JoAnn and Holly Farwell, the bride's sisters-in-law; Lauren Winsterman; and Mandi Wiley. Flower girl was Maeve Fleming, the groom's daughter.
Mark Scura served as best man, and groomsmen were Guy Barretta; James and John Farwell, the bride's brothers; and Daniel and Kevin Fleming, the groom's brothers.
The bride graduated from Ohio University and is vice president of marketing at Charter One Bank, Cleveland. The groom, a principle consultant of sales and marketing solutions with Dun and Bradstreet Corp. in Independence, graduated from the University of Dayton. They live at 8419 Chesapeake Drive, Sagamore Hills.
