Rachic-Zavadil wedding to be in early summer



XAUSTINTOWN -- Plans for the upcoming marriage of Laura Mae Rachic, 1440 Fredericksburg Drive, Boardman, and Aaron Joseph Zavadil, 41431/2 Rush Blvd., Youngstown, are announced by the bride-elect's mother, Alice Mae Gregory, 111 S. Yorkshire Blvd.
The bride-to-be is also a daughter of Benjamin Mischey, 3841 Mahoning Ave., Austintown.
Parents of the future groom are Emil and Janice Zavadil, 1840 Woodland Drive, Columbiana.
The couple will exchange nuptial vows at 11 a.m. June 30 during an open ceremony at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Youngstown. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Das Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana.
Ms. Rachic, an assistant manager at The Pet Food Center, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She is pursuing an associate degree in veterinary technology at Cuyahoga Community College in Parma.
Mr. Zavadil graduated as a certified diesel technician from TDDS Professional Training Center in Lake Milton. He is a diesel mechanic with T.S.I. Western Star Inc., North Jackson.
