XYOUNGSTOWN -- Cabo San Lucas in Mexico was the honeymoon destination of J. Brian Tibolla and his bride, the former Necole Corvino, who were united in marriage April 22 at St. Columba Cathedral.
The Rev. John Keehner officiated for the daughter of Jeffrey and Debra Johnson and James and Patty Corvino, all of Poland, and the son of Jack and Jeanne Tibolla of Boardman.
A reception was held afterward at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Banquet Hall.
The couple live in Raleigh, N.C.
Crystal beading enhanced the bodice and train of the bride's white satin gown. It featured a sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps.
Black gowns were worn by Jamie Corvino and Jamie Bush, the honor attendants, and the bridesmaids, Sarah Anzelmo, Kelly Bentfeld, Kristen Frank, Jennifer House, Kelly Ponigar, Mary Smith, Amanda Teasely and Carlie Yankle.
Serving as best men were 1st Lt. Dr. Frank Wanat and Thomas Dailey. Groomsmen were Matthew Brown, Richard Cook, Anthony Elmo, Matthew Holecko, Jeffrey Johnson, Brian Lopatta, Greg Tibolla and Jason Tibolla. Ring bearer was Lucas Conkey.
The bride graduated from Westminster College with a bachelor's degree in biology and received a degree in nursing from Mercy College of Northwest Ohio. She is a critical-care registered nurse at Duke University Hospital in Durham, N.C.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's in education at YSU. He is in the process of starting a T-shirt design company.
