Trustees name slate of officers to head Angels for Animals
The charitable organization is always in need of volunteers.
BOARDMAN -- Officers and board members who will serve Angels for Animals Inc. during the 2006-07 season were elected by the board of trustees April 27 at a meeting held at Gem-Young Insurance.
Serving for the term will be Atty. Matt Ditchey, president; Betty Jagnow, vice president; Janet Flynn, treasurer; and Pam Bretcko, secretary.
Completing the executive board will be Diane Less Baird, Bill Rosenberg, Lynn Mitchell, Alice Marchione, Dr. Donald Allen, Bob Hotchkiss and Carol Czarneski.
Purpose of organization
Angels for Animals is an organization dedicated to alleviating the needless death and suffering of cats and dogs through spay/neuter programs, adoption, education and, when necessary, humane euthanasia. Donations to the charitable organization are tax-deductible.
Volunteers are always needed to assist at the Angels facility on state Route 165, west of state Route 46 and five miles south of the Canfield Fairgrounds.
