Resurrection gives believers power over death

In the troubling times that we live in, God gives us hope. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1 that "Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."
The hope that God has given us has come through his son, Jesus Christ. As Jesus died for us and was raised from the dead to sit at the right hand of the Father, the power of death was defeated.
For that reason, there is nothing on this earth that can destroy us as believers. We now have the power to walk in the hope that was given to us no matter what trouble befalls us.
Scripture tells us in 2 Peter 2:9, "The Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials." There is nothing that God can't save us from or take us through if we put our trust in him. His word has been tried and tested and proved to be true. God is faithful to do what he has promised in our lives.
It is sad that there are believers who give more power to their circumstances than to the all-surpassing power of God. Jesus never said that we would not have troubles in this world. He said that we should take joy and strength in the midst of our trials because he has overcome the world.
God's plan
Our hope should be in the knowledge that our God has a plan for our life and also knows how to make that plan happen. He who began a good work in you will never fail you.
You may have anxious thoughts over losing your job, financial worries, a relationship struggle or a serious health issue, but the right hand of God will help you through it all as he gives you his peace. Christ came to earth to give us an abundant life that is filled with hope not to live defeated by the problems of the world. We need to take hold of the gift of salvation through Christ and to know that the wondrous power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us. We have the victory over anything that comes against us because the battle has already been won at the cross.
God, who is the master over the wind, the rain and everything in the universe, has the love and the power to help you overcome any and all of your problems. It doesn't matter what you have done or what you have been through, God still desires for you to come to him. He is willing to be strong where you are weak and to give you hope where you despair.
This hope is everlasting and will take you through to eternity. The darkness of your situation cannot hold back the light of God's power and mercy. Your struggle is never hopeless when you have put your faith in Jesus, who is able to do abundantly more than anything you ask.
