Landy-Barone engagement is announced

XSTRUTHERS -- James and Loretta Landy, 113 Forest Creek Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Landy, and Dominic Barone, both of 700 N. Creek Drive, Painesville.
Parents of the future groom are Dr. Adeline and James Barone, 541 Woodbury Court, Canfield.
Miss Landy, an underwriter with The Ameriquest Mortgage Co. in Independence, graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in communications.
Mr. Barone earned a bachelor's degree and a master's in business administration at John Carroll University in University Heights, and is an account executive with The Ameriquest Mortgage Co. in Eastlake. He is also the owner of Buckeye Home Funding Solutions.
The Marble Room at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown has been chosen by the couple for their 2:30 p.m. Aug. 19 wedding. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and also for a reception at Leo's Ristorant & eacute; in Howland.
