Diocese to present Loyola ministry extension program
The ministry education learning group will be discussed.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Diocese of Youngstown Office of Religious Education will present the Loyola Institute for Ministry Extension Program of Loyola University New Orleans at information meetings planned from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, 2121 Reno Drive N.E., Louisville, and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 13 at St. James Church, 50 Rosemont Road, North Jackson.
The sessions will discuss the formation of another graduate ministry education learning group in the Diocese of Youngstown. Lay, religious and ordained people who are engaged in church ministry or laity who want to address themselves to their ministry in the world may attend.
Loyola Institute for Ministry offers Catholic graduate ministry formation on-site programs leading to the master of religious education and master of pastoral studies degrees with focus areas in Christian spirituality for ministers, pastoral life and administration, youth ministry, Hispanic ministry, religion and ecology, marketplace ministry and small Christian community formation. These programs also offer a noncredit Continuing Education Certificate.
