HUBBARD
May 19
Recovered property: While assisting a disabled vehicle on North Main Street, authorities learned it had been stolen in Maryland.
Possible theft: A woman in the 300 block of Princeton Avenue reported a lost or stolen cellular phone.
May 20
Recovered property: Youngstown police found a vehicle that belonged to an East Water Street man after he told officers his daughter's boyfriend had failed to return it.
Theft: Two women reported the theft of property from their cars when they were at the Downtown Coffee Cafe, 29 N. Main St.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of a game cube and several checks from her home in the 30 block of Henry Street.
Criminal mischief: Someone flattened tires on three vehicles in the 200 block of East Liberty Street.
Burglary: A woman in the 300 block of Erie Street discovered someone broke into her apartment.

Theft: A Taylor Street woman reported an item stolen from her car while she was in the 400 block of East Liberty Street.

Theft: A man in the 200 block of East Liberty Street reported items missing from his vehicle.
Criminal mischief: A mailbox was damaged in the 900 block of West Liberty Street.

Criminal mischief: A man in the 800 block of Elmwood Drive reported damage to his front door.
Theft: Police arrested a Hubbard woman after a theft occurred at Rite Aid Pharmacy, 147 W. Liberty St.
Theft: A man discovered a checkbook missing from his home in the 100 block of Christian Avenue.
GIRARD
May 21
Theft: A bicycle was removed from a front porch in the 100 block of East Prospect Street.
Criminal mischief: A man in the 70 block of Morris Lane noticed a front-door storm window had been shattered.
Domestic violence: Officers took into custody a 28-year-old Girard man on a domestic-violence charge after the man's girlfriend alleged he grabbed her hair and tried to pull her out of her vehicle. The man also threatened to kill the woman, police said.
May 22
Assault: A Youngstown man told police a Girard man, 44, grabbed the victim by the neck, swung him around and threw him to the ground during an argument near U.S. Route 422. The Youngstown man had a minor injury.
May 23
Burglary: A man returned to his residence in the 200 block of East Main Street and found damage to a doorknob. Stolen were a portable DVD player, DVDs and a safe containing more than $300.
Breaking and entering: A man who owns a residence in the 100 block of West Second Street discovered a broken basement window and a cut screen in a kitchen window.
May 24
Possible theft: A woman in the 400 block of Ohio Avenue reported a set of house keys lost or stolen.
LIBERTY
May 18
Vandalism: A James Lane woman found out someone placed sand in her car's gas tank.
Arrest: Police arrested a 21-year-old Youngstown woman at the Mahoning County jail on a warrant from Liberty. A charge of forgery was pending.
Theft: A woman in the 3500 block of Staunton Drive reported the theft of a bracelet and a gold ring from her home. The loss came to $750.
Theft: A male customer, 35 to 45, stole a large quantity of groceries from Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., before fleeing.
Arrest: While investigating a possible domestic situation at a residence in the 600 block of Beverly Hills Drive, authorities arrested a woman, 25. She was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and obstructing official business.
Theft: A Girard woman came out of Giant Eagle and discovered her purse missing from her car.
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported the theft of a cellular phone from her purse while she was at Choices Niteclub, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
May 19
Theft: A man reported that a $362 check mailed to Advanced Computer Services, 1280 Trumbull Ave., was never received.
Assaults: An employee at Belmont Pines Hospital, 615 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, reported a 16-year-old patient punched two other patients in the face. Neither victim was hurt.
May 20
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive reported someone threw rocks and broke two bedroom windows, causing $100 worth of damage.
Arrest: After stopping a car at Giant Eagle, police arrested a 35-year-old Youngstown woman on a warrant from Liberty. Pending was a charge of passing bad checks.
Domestic violence: A 35-year-old man was taken into custody at his Whippoorwill Way home and charged with domestic violence after his mother alleged the man shoved and threatened her.
May 21
Theft: Two men in their 20s removed four video games and a DVD from Movie Gallery, 3551 Belmont Ave.
May 22
Theft: A woman reported losing her debit card while at Long John Silver's, 3560 Belmont Ave., and later discovering someone used it to make $88 worth of fraudulent charges.
Recovered property: Fourteen DVDs thought to have been stolen from an apartment in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive were found.
Identity theft: A Church Hill Road man reported that he received a call from Western Union regarding a $650 online transfer, but that he never authorized such a move.
May 23
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 200 block of Colonial Drive reported damage to her vehicle's driver's-side mirror, which was estimated at $200.
Drugs: A Youngstown man, 21, was picked up near state Route 193 and Interstate 80 on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, drug possession and driving under suspension. A small bag of suspected marijuana was found, police said.
Burglary: Someone broke into a Trumbull Court home and took about 36 DVDs.
