Weathersfield trustees award $76,719 repaving contract

MINERAL RIDGE -- Weathersfield Township trustees have awarded a $76,719 contract to Shelley and Sands, Girard, to repave one mile of roads in the township this year.
Roads to be repaved are:
Heaton Boulevard, from state Route 169 to Broadway Street.
Earl Street, from West Park Avenue to the end of the street.
Ohltown-Girard Road, from Webb Road to the bike trail, Spruce Street, from Salt Springs Road to Oakview Drive.
Elm Drive, from Oakview Drive to the end of the street and the cul-de-sac at the end of Oakview.
Trustees have changed the date of their June meeting from June 13 to June 20. The trustees will hold a public hearing on three proposed zoning amendments submitted by the zoning commission at 5:30 p.m. that day and will hold their regular meeting at 7 p.m. at the township administration building.
