Masked robber takes $1,000 from Liberty pizza parlor



LIBERTY -- Police are investigating the robbery of a pizza parlor.
According to police reports, an employee at the Youngstown Pizza Company opened a rear door at the Belmont Avenue business just after midnight Sunday. Shortly after the door was opened, reports said, a man wearing a bandana over his face brandished a handgun and demanded cash. He was given more than $1,000.
The man, reports said, then ordered the employees to lie on the floor and ran out the back door.
