Explaining that it is Kendall's wish to value the baby's life more than her own, each remained defiant after a court ruling sided with Ryan, barricading himself in Kendall's hospital room. Erica called the police and as they charged a shot was fired. Informed by Greg that Katie died shortly after birth, Tad confronted Dixie demanding to know if the child is still alive, but Dixie wouldn't answer and was later intimidated by Greg. Finally realizing that JR's behavior is uncontrollable, Babe had him arrested, and Adam refused to bail him out. Lily saw Jonathan but feared he was going to take her back to Jack and ended up in a hotel room with an untrustworthy stranger.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Emily took Henry's suggestion and gave an insanity plea, trading jail for a 30-day psychiatric evaluation. Fed up with Dusty's obsessive anger regarding Emily, Jennifer offered to turn her back on Paul if Dusty calms down. He agreed and proposed to Jen. Carly and Katie compared the St. Christopher medal found in Nick's pocket to the one Katie unearthed at home and realized that Nick might be covering for himself in the murder investigation. Maddie felt hurt by Casey's apparent rejection of her advances, but he told her it's because he cares about her and doesn't want to screw up again. Will listened to Jade and bought a paper off the Internet.
BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL
Returning to L.A. with Nick after learning what happened to Ridge, Brooke spoke to Ridge and brought him back to consciousness. Stephanie was determined to show her appreciation for Brooke's help by deciding to make her the new CEO of Forrester. Meanwhile, Jackie offered Brooke an executive position at Jackie M. Thinking that the press conference was to announce Ridge's recovery, Brooke was stunned when Stephanie stated her intention to resign and have Brooke head the company. Dante tried to talk to Felicia about the kiss they shared, but Dino's cries distracted her.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Carrie floored Lucas with the news that she's pregnant. Frankie and Jennifer became engaged, having no idea that Jack is alive. Having arrived on the island to track Marlena, John fought with Alex until Patrick broke them up, as Patrick's loyalties appeared to be in question. Shawn and Mimi started the in vitro fertilization process. Advised by Frankie to tell Hope that Chelsea's trial date has been moved up, Bo decided not to do so, a move Billie supported. Sami mistakenly believed that Austin proposed to her -- a thought that drove Kate bonkers -- and later feared she had ruined her chances for happiness. Abe's romantic dinner plans with Lexie were interrupted.
GENERAL HOSPITAL
Anna intended to turn in Robert, Holly and Luke as they squabbled. Tracy, who was shown to have hired the bounty hunters, stated that she wants Luke back. Holly, who had run off with Luke, double-crossed him, but Luke had his own plan ready to launch. Barely surviving Patrick's dangerous surgery, Sam was hidden away by Alexis. Alexis told Jason that for Sam's best interest, he must stay away from her. When Sam regained consciousness, Jason made a heart-rending decision. Sonny's mental state deteriorated, as he grew closer to a breakdown. Carly declined Jax's proposal. Jax's troubles increased when he opened Maxie's blackmail letter.
GUIDING LIGHT
After finding telltale evidence in the private investigator's files, Harley announced that Phillip is alive and guessed that Ross had been going to see him. Rick admitted to helping Phillip pay a mechanic to tamper with Ross' plane, but only to delay him. Comforted by Mallet, Dinah blurted out that she now understands why Harley slept with him when she thought Gus was dead -- which Gus overheard. Unable to keep his pain inside, Gus lashed out at Harley. Mel kicked Rick out, unable to forgive him. Beth suffered a miscarriage. Ashlee's machinations ended up with Jonathan being arrested for serving alcohol to a minor.
ONE LIFE TO LIVE
Kevin blamed himself for Duke's death, as did Kelly, who sank into a deep depression. Denton didn't get Spencer's message ordering him not to kill Margaret and David. John came face to face with David and didn't want to hear apologies from David for having killed his father. However, when Denton arrived to carry out his mission, John killed him instead. Margaret went missing. Trying to carry on despite her blindness, Evangeline wanted an exhumation to get evidence against Spencer. Claudia asked Antonio for a job. Starr and Ricky were arrested for theft and vandalism.
PASSIONS
Theresa persuaded Ethan to come to Rome to save Paloma, Jessica and Simone, but didn't give up on her seduction attempts. Later, Theresa shared an e-mail warning that someone from Harmony will die in Rome. Marty recognized Luis and called out to him, sending Luis on a frantic chase that got him arrested. Chris gave Sheridan a present, which he took from a suitcase containing the mysterious symbol. To save their souls, Whitney agreed never to see Chad again. Kay's modeling job for Miguel to keep him away from Siren backfired when Siren was also hired to pose.
YOUNG AND RESTLESS
In order to settle the pending lawsuit, and after learning from Gloria that Jack had badmouthed her, Jill arranged for Jack to be completely removed from Jabot. Jack visited John, who expressed pride in his son and convinced him to resign with dignity. Neil was totally pessimistic about his future at Newman after hearing about Brad's new responsibilities. Later, Victoria, Nikki and Nick were stunned when Victor named Brad to the Newman board and welcomed him to the family. Phyllis agonized about revealing her pregnancy but the decision took on new urgency when Jack overheard Brad talking about Nick's long affair with her.
