XBOARDMAN -- St. Charles Church provided the setting at 1:30 p.m. April 22 for the marriage of Kristina McGovern and Adam Tokash, both of 635 Cathy Ann Drive.
The Rev. Matthew Mankowski officiated, and the couple accepted congratulations at a reception at Antone's Banquet Centre.
The daughter of Robert and Linda McGovern, 681 Presidential Drive, and the son of Mary Tokash of Columbus and John Tokash of Atlanta, honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and live in Boardman.
The bride wore a princess-style, strapless ballgown of silk satin.
Sage-green gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Tara Stanton, and the bridesmaids, Danielle Deley, Taylor Deley, Kimberlee Walker, Lisa Sammartino, Carrie Cmil, Jenny Connelly, Cheryl McGovern, and Katie Warden. Flower girl was Gabrielle Tokash.
Serving as best men were Jon and Thad Tokash, and groomsmen were Brian McGovern, Dave Toto, Andrew Mahaven, Josh Gongaware, Troy Sympson and Rob McGovern. Ring bearers were Spencer and Liam Tokash.
The bride, a mathematics teacher at Boardman Glenwood Middle School, graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a degree in middle-childhood education.
The groom earned a degree in sports marketing and business education at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. He is the corporate sales manager with the Chevrolet Centre in Youngstown.
