XPOLAND -- Emily Friedrich and John Sagle were united in marriage May 20 during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Gerald Fennell at Poland Presbyterian Church.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at Youngstown County Club to honor the daughter of Don and Amy Friedrich of Poland and the son of Jeff and Becky Sagle of Doswell, Va.
The bride wore a strapless gown of tiered organza trimmed in satin, and her veil was gathered to a pearl headpiece. She held a bouquet of calla lilies.
Her sister and honor attendant, Amanda Friedrich, wore a pink gown, and mint-green gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Alyson Sagle, sister of the groom; Alyssa and Stephanie Presley and Michelle Haile, all cousins of the bride; and April Zentko. Flower girl was Katie Waggoner, a cousin of the groom.
The duties of best man were performed by Ben Russell, and groomsmen were Tim Friedrich, the bride's brother; Jeb Tate; Nate Jones; Jeremiah Johnson; and Jason Corrigan. Ring bearer was the groom's cousin, William Waggoner.
Mr. and Mrs. Sagle graduated from West Virginia University, where she earned a degree in journalism and he received a bachelor's and a master's degree in agri-business.
After accepting congratulations, the couple left on a honeymoon to Jamaica.
