Anniversary is celebrated by the Goists

XHUBBARD -- The 65th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Bill) Goist, 3455 Beechwood Drive, was celebrated at a family gathering held May 13 at the Hubbard Area Lions Club Hall.
During the event the couple were honored by their daughters and their husbands, Sandy and Jack Choppa and Ruth and Dave Korb, all of Hubbard. Completing the family are five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The former Nancy Heckman and Mr. Goist were united in marriage May 9, 1941, in Lisbon. They have lived primarily in the Hubbard area and are members of Grace Lutheran Church.
Mr. Goist retired in 1983 from General Fireproofing Co. after 43 years of service.
