Salvation Army auxiliary ends season with induction meeting

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Salvation Army Auxiliary held an installation ceremony for new officers during the final meeting of the season May 2 at the Austintown facility on Mahoning Avenue.
Sue Foley, associate area coordinator for the Salvation Army of Mahoning County, conducted the induction of officers.
Accepting the responsibility of various offices were Carol Bigelow, president; Barbara Kindler and Marge Lardas, co-vice presidents; Helen Stambaugh, treasurer; and Jane Ames, secretary.
Officers and committee chairwomen who served during the past year were singled out for recognition.
For the past 24 years, the women of the auxiliary have supported the work of Mahoning County Salvation Army through fundraising projects and by contributing thousands of hours of volunteer service.
