Five people injured in car-buggy crash

NORTH BLOOMFIELD -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured five people, including an Amish man and three children.
Albert Miller, 33, and his children Arlene, 7; Merbin, 3; and Wayne, 2, all of North Bloomfield, were taken to St. Joseph Health Center, and the driver of the car, Nathan King, 54, of Warren, was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center after the 6:20 p.m. Friday crash.
The patrol said Albert Miller was driving a horse-drawn buggy north on Penniman Road in Bloomfield Township and King was also northbound on Penniman Road, behind the buggy. King's vehicle struck the rear of the buggy, causing it to roll over.
