Bevilacqua lifts Lakeview to title



ANDOVER -- Lakeview High sophomore Nicole Bevilacqua won the 100-meter dash, finished second in the 200 and was a member of two second place sprint relays to lead the Bulldogs to the Division II district title on Saturday at Pymatuning Valley High School. The Bulldogs also won the 4x400 relay.
Hubbard sophomore Katoria Carter won the 200, 400 and was a member of the winning 4x200 relay as the Eagles placed third in the team standings behind Mantua Crestwood. Hubbard sophomore Rachel Crafton won the 100 hurdles. Campbell won the 4x100 relay.
Lakeview junior Jake Miller won the 400 and freshman Ben Moody won the 110 hurdles to lead the Bulldog boys to a second place finish behind Ashtabula Edgewood (86-74).
Liberty freshman Fitzgerald Edwards won the 100 and 200 and was a member of the winning 4x100 relay, helping the Leopards place fourth behind Crestwood. Senior Brian Golden won the high jump.
