TMH to host baby and maternity health fair

WARREN -- Baby Safari, a baby and maternity health fair hosted by Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital's Maternity Services, will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday on the third floor of the hospital, 1350 E. Market St.
Baby Safari is designed to provide information that will help women prepare for their childbirth experience and beyond. Those attending will have the opportunity to meet pediatricians, obstetricians and nursing staff, tour the newly remodeled maternity department, and look at more than 20 exhibits to learn about available programs and services.
Special 20-minute educational sessions will be held on a new approach to infant bonding and pain management during labor and delivery.
Babies R Us, a co-sponsor of the event, will set up a nursery viewing room with the latest in new furniture, necessities and accessories for newborns. Toys R Us mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe will make a special appearance for the kids.
Door prizes, giveaways and refreshments will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
