Sobriety checkpoints planned
Two sobriety checkpoints will be set up in Mahoning County from 8:30 p.m. Saturday until 12:30 a.m. Sunday in an effort to enforce laws against driving while impaired. The Mahoning County Operating a Vehicle Impaired Task Force also will enforce seat belt laws. Funding for extra patrols comes from grants.
