School board accepts retirement requests



CAMPBELL -- The board of education has accepted retirement requests from Memorial High School teachers Ed Rozum and Debra Kostelic, both with 30 years of service.
Rozum, who has been at Campbell since 1976, is athletics director and a high school science teacher. He also has been an assistant principal and football coach during his career.
Kostelic, who teaches business technologies, began teaching at Campbell in 1983.
Also Tuesday, the board approved the following personnel for the district's summer intervention program: Darlene Basista, Karen Carney, Michael Carter, Richard Gozur Jr., Anna Marie Horvath, Kimberly Kolidakis, teachers at $16 per hour; Carol Dolan, Carmen Santiago, Leiza Serra, educational assistants at $9.47 per hour; and Cathy Berry and Charles Beshara, bus drivers at $13.39 per hour.
