Parents are held in endangering

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Jeffrey and Mary White of Altman Road have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after a crash in North Beaver Township, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
The Whites were intoxicated and their 7-year-old son was in the car Monday during the crash, troopers said. The couple sought medical attention but left their child at a neighbor's, reports show.
A relative summoned an ambulance for the child, who required treatment.
Aside from the endangering charge, Jeffrey White, 34, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of driving under the influence, driving under suspension, filing false reports concerning accidents and traffic violations and booked into the Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
Mary White, 41, was booked in lieu of $5,000 bond.
