Fundraiser set at Salem Golf Club

SALEM -- Salem Golf Club will be the setting Friday for a golf outing to benefit the American Cancer Society.
The event will be held in memory of Ron Capretta, who was a member of the club, and will support his favorite cause. Proceeds will be used by ACS for research in an effort to find a cure for cancer and to care for those currently struggling with the disease.
Registration is at 11:30 a.m., lunch will be at noon and play will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
The entry fee is $100 per person and includes awards, dinner, raffles and door prizes.
